I think of Rilke's expanding rings: Circles repeating, one after another, like water: The way we proceed with blind uncertainty; we trust. Yet cycles ebb and flow until some crack in the universe allows a sliver of light to stream in. And so, we wait, repeating circles, awaiting ripples.
