Hi Carla, Gorgeous owl, thanks! The Rumi quote reminds me of Marguerite Duras's novel The Lovers, something that Katie Ferris assigned me to read with a cross-ethnic love combined with coming of age. The young French girl feels she was moving towards the rich Chinese man's son for her whole life, strangely, while he feels he's ruining his life but can't stop seeking her out. It's a very poignant story of forbidden love hidden in plain sight. cheers, Laura
